Description
Some of those Arquiol, Arcoloc, Arcal, … those strange people trying to discover what the World of Old was really like, think that there used to be a kind of gigantic metal cage here, with gardens where visitors would have strolled between shopping trips. Of course, whenever someone hears this kind of absurd nonsense, they usually burst out laughing.
This enormous dome within the dome, which you can’t approach without risking being eaten by the plants that cover it, is controlled by the formerly known Pinrel Clan. They decided to stop calling themselves that because mutards with hooves instead of feet, or some that actually crawl, began entering their ranks. Today they are known simply as the Clan, and for some reason, the plants allow them to pass freely through the two existing entrances.
Inside, there’s a community dominated by a spirit of brotherhood: free love, drug use, and acceptance of all (yes, even mutants). The collective work produces a varied selection of foods, and thanks to the filtering of some plants, they’ve even managed to produce drinking water!
This department has become a vital organ of the settlement.
Masca
Johnny “The Fast”
He’s a big, bellicose guy who has risen to power in his area by beating the shit out of him. Although he believes the nickname is due to his skill with guns and weapons in general, everyone says it sarcastically due to his slow thinking.
Other personalities
Abis Chambers
Abis works farming the land. She’s an extremely strong woman with short lilac and green hair, a very dark tan, and a height of 1.83 m.
From a very young age, she became interested in farming, without neglecting survival. So, in addition to working the land, she trained daily with any farming implement she came across. She has never picked up a sword in her life, but she could be considered an expert with cutting weapons. If you see her with a sickle in her hand, you’d better turn around.
Blixen While Masca won the apartment with his fists, his sister helps him keep it with her brains. Obsessed with knowledge in general and science in particular, she’s deeply invested in improving drug crops and plantations.
Cann Rose
Her white hair, tan skin, and 5’7″ height make Cann a very interesting woman. Not just for her looks, but also for her ability to create all kinds of edibles with any leftovers she finds. Owner of the Cositas stall, she’s a skilled trader who won’t be easily fooled. In fact, I don’t recommend trying.
She shares her life with her beloved friend Abis Chambers.
Cleech and Clong
Clong is the leader of the Hippy Commune, and Cleech is the head of the Celery Den. Both often take advantage of their positions to spend a lot of time high.
Ranko
Mutard rescued from the pit fights in another settlement. Due to his large size and strength, he is in charge of security throughout the Greenhouse.
Tadpole An amphibious mutard, responsible for crops, mainly in the underwater zone.
Tick-Tock
How nice it is to have a handyman in the apartment! A fixer and inventor of many gadgets!
Tick-Tock wasn’t born in the Invernadero. He was found a few meters from one of its entrances. You could say he was abandoned there because it was one of the safest and quietest apartments. Perhaps from Scrap dealers parents, due to his innate ability to create things, his nickname was given to him when they discovered he had a watch that he never parted with, and which many say has mystical properties.
Main locations
Buildings
Food Center This large building is located between the growing area and a rear entrance to the VIP department, through which they access the Merchants’ Market. The rest of the building is used as a shed for storing the harvest, a small factory where some of the food is processed, and the bottling plant for water filtered by the Greenhouse plants.
Headquarters Inside a labyrinth of mutant plants are the “offices” of Masca and his sister. There’s also an armory, a kitchen, a training and recreation room for the gang, and the Invention Workshop, where Blixen conducts his experiments to improve crops or try to obtain more powerful drugs.
Fertilizer factory
The best fertilizer in the Páramo is made here, both for celery and other crops.
Celery Den
Houses one of the department’s main lines of business. Each floor of the building specializes in a different type of drug use created by this mutated plant.
Recycling plant
Virtually everything consumed in the Greenhouse can be reused, from edible products to the ashes from the celery smokehouse. This produces, among other things, top-quality fertilizer for reuse in the fields.
Toaster
Hippy people come to the Toaster because they can, they have time, and why not change their skin tone a little?
Built in the shape of a dome, with glass bottles collected since before the Greenhouse was even named, it serves as a relaxation area after coming from the celery smoker to get some sun!
Premises
Merchants’ Market
A place of pilgrimage for large merchants who wish to purchase wholesale harvested food and bottled water to supply the rest of the Merkadome departments.
Places of interest
The Agora The square where the hippie commune meets, holds small festivals, and its leader sets the guidelines that affect the commune’s future.
Hippy Commune
Most of the department’s inhabitants live in an open area, near the entrance to the farms and around the plaza they call the Agora.
When the commune accepts a new member, they are given a small plot of land adjacent to the rest of the commune so they can build a hut or teepee to their liking, relying on the help of the other members whenever needed.
Hippy Market At the entrance to the Hippy Commune is one of their self-supporting options. Each member can set up a stall to sell their crafts, some drugs they’ve prepared, or food (or both).
Resources
Good drugs, juicy fruits, colorful vegetables, and water like you’ve rarely seen out there. Is there a more vibrant apartment?
Dare to put down roots in the Greenhouse!
